The Resistance

from Angst to Action

“When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won. There have been tyrants and murderers and for a time they seem in-

vincible, but in the end, they always fall... think of it, always.” - Mahatma Gandhi

Mission Statement

It is the urgent mission of The Resistance: from Angst to Action to fight the unjust actions of the Trump Administration by filling the gaps not addressed by other activist groups, networking with them, and making the resistance more visible to the citizens of North Central Washington.

We are people concerned about Trump's policies, who are converting our anxieties to ACTION!

STAND WITH UKRAINE! By now everyone has heard of how our current President and Vice-President ambushed and insulted Ukrainian President Zelensky. Scandalously, this Administration is turning its back on our allies and friends and siding with Vladmir Putin, a brutal dictator. We have planned a Rally where WE THE PEOPLE can take our stand and say that what Trump and Vance have done does not reflect who we are. OUR VOICES MUST BE HEARD!  We will meet in Memorial Park 2 S. Chelan Ave, Wenatchee, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Reverse Trump's Global Health Care Funding Ban -- Of all the dangerous unjust acts Trump and Musk have done, defunding USAID is perhaps the worst. It exposes millions to disease and poverty. And the diseases like Ebola and AIDS, that start in Africa, will end up here as well. So, it's bad for others AND bad for us! Contact your congressional leaders!

We network with local organizations working to advocate and work for justice in the Wenatchee Valley of Wahington and beyond. Here are links to other active organizations:
